Start Your Own Business – 10 Steps To Take<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Know yourself<\/b><\/span>
\nCan you work alone?
\nCan you take responsibility?
\nAre you of a positive disposition?<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Are you prepared to take a risk?<\/b><\/span>
\nStarting a business will involve risking your savings.
\nAre you prepared for this?<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Research your market<\/b><\/span>
\nWhat is the extent of the market for your product\/service?
\nWho are your customers?
\nWho are your competitors?<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Look at your production requirements \u2013 premises, machinery and labour.<\/b><\/span>
\nWhere will the enterprise be located?
\nWhat considerations are important in the choice of premises?
\nWhat machinery is required?
\nWill employees require additional training prior to commencing work?<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Work out your total costs.<\/b><\/span>
